My son had 3rd degree burn on his foot (1% body area, whole foot eith toes) and while transitioning to shoes these were the first ones he chose out of many to start walking in. At first, only in his special bandages and his sock (we removed all stuff from one shoe that ghe shoe came with) but now he wears the insert socks too.
