I originally ordered US size 12 and received Euro size 45. I returned those - ordered size 13 and got size 46. Even though Giro's sizes are Euro - Amazon lists them in US sizes and the conversion is off at the time of this writing. If you put a US size in your cart, then enter the cart and you will see the item listed with the Euro size there. Hopefully this will save some folks the trouble getting the wrong size like me.For what it's worth, I wear a US 12 in athletic shoes and 11.5 in dress. I also wore a size 46 in Peloton. The Giro is a far superior shoe. The BOA is easy, fast and effective. The insole is thin. If you need orthotics or have a high instep there is a HV (high volume) version of this shoe available. Hopefully a more durable shoe than Peloton which only lasted 6 months before a screw anchor started to pull out. - Happy Cycling!Slight room for the toe area for me, I think if I wanted a fitted feel ill go 9. The only downside to this is the shiny toe area that easily gets scuffed from adjusting the pedal lol. Still a 5 star cause of its halfed priced right now.These shoes look amazing, feel amazing and slip on off with a breeze. They don’t get dirty and if they do it’s very hard to tell, that is if you ride road bike.To start the tongue was a little stiff and bit into the top of my ankle.It took several rides to break-in, okay now.exelent shoes. recomendated, I wear 43.5 eu and I ordered 45 size. fit good.They look cool, fit nicely, and the ties are my favorite part. Just click down and twist with one band to tighten. Just pull out to release.I thought the quality nearly matched the price pointAwesome shoes and feel very comfortable, I would definitely recommend if your looking for a quality with a fair price, these will fill the ticket.I bought these to replace my old Nike Poohbahs which after 30 years of being in mud and gloop, now enjoy life away from the mud and are sunning themselves in the sandpit of Saudi Arabia.The Savix are comfortable and the sole allows road and MTB cleats. My choice is SPD cleats but I may change to road shortlyThe Boa system is easy enough to use and the shoes feel firmly attached to your feet, how they'll survive the dust remains to be seenThe shoes are extremely cool even in 40 degrees C temperaturesThe only downside I have found is that unlike the Poohbahs which have a recessed cleat, on the Savix the cleats stand proud which makes walking on hard surfaces noisy (akin to a tapdancer) and on tiled floors quite slippy due to SPD cleats being metalTo be honest I bought these shoes because I thought they looked good, and I'm very glad I did. The fit is great and they are really comfortable on longer rides. So far I've done a few eighties and a couple of nineties in them, with no discomfort. the lacing mechanism is easy and holds the shoe firm on the foot. All in all a great buy and would recommend them .Sizing was very good. I'm a UK 11 and went to the EU 46. Also I have fairly wide feet and these fit perfectly. Velcro strap allows you to loosen of the front area independently and the Boa dial works well allowing you to make small adjustments.Schuh war zu klein.
