So. I love my Oxfords and Dress Shoes. I'm SO very picky with ties, socks, underwear, shirts, suit jackets and pants, trousers, chinos... the thing that balances them all out are the shoes. Let me tell you something, man. These are some very awesome shoes, BUT, and this is a VERY big 'BUT'... THEY... RUN... WAY... TOO... LARGE!!!When I was young, I wore 'younger' things... including 'young' shoe sizes. I now wear a size 13 medium. I have narrow (non-flat) feet, and so, one would think I had to order a size 13 shoe, right? Well, okay. I ordered a 13... and then a 12... and then an 11.5... and then a 10 and a 10.5 (both at the same time). Guess which ones didn’t fit? All but the 10.5!! The people at UPS now know my face (and possibly my name) because I had to make SO MANY TRIPS back there to return these GODFORSAKEN BIG A** CLOWN SHOES!!!! LLLLLOOOOOLLLLLL!!!!! I bet they were like "Aaaah... I think he just needs to relive a moment he didn't capture every week with that same shoebox!" LLLOOOLLL!!!! I even considered going to another UPS location, I was so embarrassed! LOL! But here’s the catch… these are some of the best shoes I’ve got in my arsenal. I ended up keeping the 10.5 because they fit the best. Initially, they were quite tight (I mean, seeing as how they ARE not my true shoe size), but man, they loosen up (width wise) and give way somewhat. I’ve gotten complements on them (not that it matters), and it’s got a rich, dark chocolate look to it that can’t be beat. They’re the type that can be buffed with a little Vaseline and they seem like they’ll last for a while, too!The price? Eeehhh… it’s okay. You get what you pay for. I’ll remember the name Jousen after a while; they’re not Stacy’s (these are way more comfortable than Stacy Adams), but they’re worth the price and the design is definitely what I was looing for… not over-the-top. Okay… The heel is just a little over 1” high like the other Oxfords in my collection. I’m loving these shoes. The prior pair of brown Oxfords I had lasted me a while, but I had to replace the sole. I always told myself that when I find another pair of brown Oxfords that I like a lot, that I’ll buy another pair immediately to keep just in case I can’t find them later. So, guess what? Yeah… I bought another pair a week or so after I received these. 5-Stars.Jousen has come through for me… I’ve got two other shoes from this brand this year, and my closet is excited. But I’d appreciate a gift card for all them daggone trips I had to take to UPS, man. SMH. It was like so weird! If there was a hot chick in there, then that would be different. Unfortunately, well, you know where I’m going with this! LOL!!!I hope this helps. I take pride in writing honest reviews and I’m grateful to have a platform with which to complete such. Reviews help me when I’m considering making a purchase, and there’s no way I’d write something I don’t mean on a review. We all have different subjective takes because we’re all different. I’ll not give something 1-Star just because I’m ticked off and then write one little tiny sentence like “Don’t waste such and such” or “Broke. Plan to by another pair. Thank YouThis is my 3rd pair of Jousens. They're lightweight, stylish, water proof, and stand up to city commutes. I just retired my first pair having worn the sole almost completely through. Even with that amount of wear, the uppers still 'almost' look like new. My only decisions now are which style and colour to choose for the next pair.Awesome,the only word i can use to describe these shoes! The are true to size, and are VERY comfortable. The look is also amazing.You won't be disappointed with these shoes. I was blown away by the price for the quality and fitment, simply Awesome!
